No Further Cuts SAYS PRIME MINISTER. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 22. An assurance was given this evening by the Prime Minister that the Government had no intention of interfering further with the rates interest. Mr Forbes remarked on the reports to the effect that the investing public in some parts of New Zealand was reluctant to take up local body debentures issues through the fear of further State interference with the interest rates.
