WELLINGTON, September 19. The inaugural championship meeting of the North Island Miniature Rifle Association was held on Saturday. Results:— Wellington Alatch: Rockel (Karori) 1, Freeth (Nelson) 2, Bain (South Featherston) 3. Canterbury Match: Barrett (Sydenham) 1, Pimm (Sydenham) 2, Hay (Sydenham) 3, Lumsden (Featherston) 4, Edmonds (Sumner) 5. Wairarapa Alatch: Tomlin (Wellington Harbour Board) 1, Edmonds (Sumner-Redcliffs) 2, Staples (Wellington South) 3, Caldwell (Lower Hutt) 4. Championship Aggregate: Edmonds (Sumner-Redcliffs) won from Barrett (Sydenham) after a tie, with an aggregate of 298 out of 300. Hay (Sydenham) was third with 297. The optional aggregate was won by Edmonds, Barrett being second. 1 ja< lies’ Aggregate: Af rs Cavay e (Hutt). Champion Teams Alatch: Sydenham 789 out of 800.
