The airman Scott departed from here for Bima at six o’clock this (Tuesday) morning. — Scott considers that Butler’s record is already broken. He declared that he was tired of records, and that he will be returning to England by steamer. LONDON— CAPE SERVICE. RUGBY, April 26. Whe n the weekly African a ir mail leaves Croydon to-morrow, the entire 8000 mile s of the rout e to Capetown will be open for passengers, as well as mails and parcels. Hitherto passengers were carried only to Nairobi. The first through-passenger-carrying- ser- ' ice also leaves Capetown to-morrow. The fare is £l3O. It includes the meals, hotel accommodation and the tips. The journey fakes eleven days, as compared with seventeen days by surface transport.
