PRINCE OF WALES
ON TYNESIDE TOUR. (British Official Wireless.) (Received April 27 at 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, April 26. Tjjp Prince of Wales, who is doing a two days’ tour of Tyneside, will tomorrow meet the winners of the English Soccer Cup at Newcastle United football ground. His visit is being marked by a complete absence of formality. Today, after chatting with the men at an unemployed settlement, he visited the nursery school. While he was talking t 6 the matron, the children crowded round the Princ e so closely that be trod on one small boy’s foot. ‘ 1 I’m sorry,” said the Prince to him. “Now you can tread on mine!” The small solemnly did so.
