WEDDING

DIXON—OOTILIHBSEN. A quiet wedding was solemnised last evening at the Church of Christ, Park Street, when Henry, youngest son of Mrs and the late Mr T. B. Dixon, Cowper Street, was united in holy matrimony to Ivy, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs T. Gottliebsen, East Malvern. Melbourne. The bride wore a frock of delphinium blue georgette with hat to match, and carried a bouquet of pale pink chrysanthemums. She was attended by Mrs T. B. Dixon, junr., as Matron of Honour, who wore a frock of mulberry celanese with hat and bouquet to match. The bridegroom’s brother, Mr T. B. Dixon, carried out th e duties of best man, and Mr C. Hunter, of Dobson, gave the bride away. Pastor H. Cava J was the officiating clergyman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bridegroom’s parents. Later, the happy couple left for Christchurch on a motoring tour, the bride travelling in a blue tailored • costume with hat to match.
