FARM TRAGEDY

TRACTOR DRIVER KILLED. MASTERTON, April 24. Colin Francis Bennett, a young man aged 21. was fatally injuired to-day at Homewood, about 40 miles from Masterton, when a tractor, which he was driving, overturned, pinning him to the ground by his neck. Death was instantaneous, Bennett receding a fracture of the base of the skull, and severe neck injuries. H e was th e eldest son of Mrs W. R. Bennett anj the late Mr Henry Bennett. The accident occurred at his mother’s station at Fernglen.
