NEW CENTRAL EXECUTIVE Decision on Wheat Problem (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, March 30. At the Labour Party’s annual conference. Auckland was chosen as the venue of next year’s annual conference of the New Zealand Labour Party by the delegates at to-day’s session. The following Central Executive were elected:—Mrs R. Semple, Sir Nesbir Armstrong, lion. Mark Fagan, Mr T. Brindle, and Mr A. Parlane. The following resolutions were carThat a special Sub-Committee be set up to investigate and report to the National Executive upon the problems of wheat production, prices, and duties and upon the production, distribution and price of flour, with a view to cheapening wheat, flour and bread to ihe consumers, while ensuring standard wages to the wheat farm employees and an adequate return to the wheat farmers, and also to investigate and report upon primary production and export prices generally with a view to formulating a policy for the stabilisation of the incomes of the bona fide working fanners engaged in primary production.
