THEFTS AT SEA
SEVERAL ON “MA UNG ANUI. ’' SYDNEY, March 15. The liner Maunganui, with 428 passengers aboard was detained for an hour after her arrival in Sydney today, while the police investigated thefts that occurred during the voyage. The largest amount stolen was forty pounds, taken from a cabin. A second class steward, and three women passengers reported thefts of -jewellery clothing and handbags.
