“Loose Ankles,” with the screen’s most romantic love team, Loretta Young and Douglas Fairbanks junr.. and a splendid cast of supporting artists. Ann Harper is bequeathed a million dollars subject to a proviso in the will that she shall marry a man who meets the approval of her Aunts Sarah and Katherine. But there was a catch in it. In the picture Miss Crawford plays the part of a cabaret entertainer who joins the Salvation Army after a bitter love experience, only to backslide into the old life when the man returns to her through a chance meeting.
