ST. PATRICK’S CONCERT
TOWN HALL TO-NIGHT. St. Patrick’s Concert to be held at the Town Hall to-night, promises io easily eclipse all previous functions an.! judging from the programme to be rendered an exceptionally good night’s entertainment will be provided. Air J. Toomey and Miss Alillicent O’Grady who will arrive from Christchurch to day to assist, should require ho Introduction to Greymouth people; Air Toomey having left such a favourable impression after his last appearance at the St. Patrick’s Concert two years ago. while Miss O’Grady will al readv be well-known to listeners-in from various radio stations. During the evening a duct will bo rendered by Air Toomey, and Mr Harold Prescott, • * Grey mouth. There is no necessity to dwell on Mr . Prescott’s abilities, as his performances here to date speaK for themselves. He is, without doin' one of the finest tenor singers in the Dominion to-day. Mrs Cogswell, too, who has been so well received of lat«* will render items, as also will Air J. Duffy, who can always be depended upon to make a “hit.” Mr W. McGrath, who is well known to all, wil l he heard giving the recitation, “St. Patrick’s Day Procession. ’' Misses E. Ryan, L. Marshall, J. Fowler, D. Leggoe and C. Keating are other artists who will assist, whilst there will also bp an orchestral selection, choruses by St. Mary’s girls, and Marist Brothers’ hoys. It is exipcctcd that there will be a greater crowd than ever before.
