DISARMAMENT
SIR T. WILFORD’S SPOKB. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn). GENEVA, February 16. Fresh interest was given the flagging Disarmament Conference by the Argentinian, Doctor Bosch’s, intense, appeal for agreement to prevent a repetition of inhumanity suffering involved in war time. Sir T. M. Wilford said that New ealand accepted the draft convention as the basis of discussion, and shared Sir J. Simon’s views on security. It opposed the French proposal for the creation of an International Force and considered the Washington and London Naval Agreements should be the basis of International agreements. New Zealand favoured the abolition of chemical warfare and submarines, but realised the difficulty i„ accomplishmg the latter.
