VATICAN AND FASCISM. ROME. June 24. The Government’s official reply to the Vatican repeats the protest :: gainst “the illicit interference of tie Holy S?e in the affairs of Italy, and laments that the Holy See insists by speeches, telegrams and hjpeals to public opinion abroad upon carrying these events outside the proper place.” The reply adds that grea.vr regard should be shown for the duties imposed on the Holy See. Privileges must not be converted into weapons against the State. SPANISH STRIKER.S REINSTATED.
MADRID, June 24. The Spanish Cabinet is reinstating th? railwaymen dismissed after the 1917 general strike, and dismissing the soldiers who eame to the country’s aid since and carried on.
