Prendergast seconded that a letter of thanks be sent to Messrs J. , Edmonds (Ch. Ch. E. R. Moss and J. McLean for donations received. —Cars ried. Mr J. Edmonds also promised the Chib a trophy to be shot for. It was decided that the Secretary write all I local firms for quotes for ammunition. It was decided to ask the Mayor, Mr J. W. Greenskide, to fire the first shot at the opening shoot on Tuesday next, May sth. It was resolved that all members ami intending members attend at • 7 o’clock on the opening night, to pick I teams for the President v. Deputy President’s match. The following officers j were appointed to take charge of the • opening shoot:—Targets, etc., Riflemen ■ G. Richardson and T. Garth; Mounds: (Rflm. J. Beban and C. Richardson; i Rifles: Rflm. W. Hamilton and W. Prendergast; Range Officer: President i Sharman; Targets Checkers: Rflm. M.l Garth, N. W. Wilkie, and I. Bennington; • Ammunition: Secretary M. Garth. It was decided that the members’ attention be drawn to the following rules: That n r rifles be taken from mounds, oxcert by the custodian; and no Rifleman shall take his targets away tntil checked off by the secretary.
