SIR O. NIEMEYER
Report on N.Z. Finance DATE UNCERTAIN. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 10. Sir Otto Niemeyer, the Bank of England expert, wh 0 is visiting New Zealand at the invitation of the Government, in order to enquire into questions relating to banking and currency, is being kept fully occupied with his investigations in Wellington, and he is in constant communication w’ith the Treasury. He is leave on a visit to Rotorua to-nw4fcv. and he will return to complete hW‘-ork on Tuesday. Questioned concerning sir Otto’s inquiries this evening, the Acting Prime Minister said that be would confine his activities strictly to the questions upon which he had been asked to report. Mr Ransom said that he was not certain whether Sir Otto would place his report in the hands of the Government before he returned to Australia, or whether he would complete it after leaving the country.
