There was a large exodus of sports from all the West Coast, centres through Roefton to-day, en route to Nelson, whore the races open to—morrow. Tim members of St. Stephen’s Eadies’ Guild mot yesterday afternoon when n dainty afternoon tea was served. Rev. H. O. Brickland was also present. At the conclusion. Mr Brickbind asked Miss Myrtle Wildonnoth io accept a handsome bedroom clock. Mias Wildermoth has been a Sunday School teacher, a Guild worker, and an earnest church member. Miffs Wildermoth loaves for Christchurch on Saturday.
