WEDDING.
REID—JOHANSEN. The wedding took place at Moan a on Thursday last, at the residence of Mr Noel Peat, of Miss Lily Eveling Johansen, elde-t daughter of Mr and Mrs Johansen of Ruru. to Mr Vernon Hardy Reid, second son of Mr James Reid' (Advcrti ing Manager of the Wanganui Herald) and Mrs Reid, of Wanganui. The ceremony was performed by the Rev Mr Barker. Th'* brie.e, who looked charming, was dress ed in cream silk, with orthodox veil, carrying a bouquet of flowers to match, and was attended by her sister Hilda, as bridesmaid. Mr H. A. Taylor (teacher of Aritika School) acted as be-t man. The bride was given away by her father. The happy couple left for Wanganui by the express, ihc bride wearing a light grey travelling costume.
