PLANE CRASHES IN WESTRALIA. (Australian & N.Z. Cable Arsn.) PERTH, May 12. A Westralian Airways plane crashed when leaving Geraldton in charge of a new pilot, throughg striking telegraph wires. The pilot and two passengers, however, were not hurt. ADELAIDE J.C. HANDICAP. (Australian & N.Z. Cable Assn.) ADELAIDE, May 12. The Jockey Club Handicap resulted: Alfred the Great 8.2 1, Kellide 7.11 2. Manfevilo 7.4 3 Eight started. Won by a length; a neck. Time 2.36.
