S.O.S. to Apia.

(Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, May 1. The acting Secretary of the P. and T. Department has been advised by the Superintendent of Radio at Wellington as follows:—“From Apia Radio. 6.55 (Apia time): The g.s. Kadiak (call “K.F.S.C.”) is sending an S.O.S. Her position is 10 miles west of Point Reyes. San Francisco is dealing with him, and we understand s.s. Charlie Watson (call ’K.D.L.A.’), two miles south of Point Reyes, is going to her assistance. The s.s. Kadiak is sinking slowly. She may last a few more hours.’’
