BOSSES’ BLUDGEON.
FOR TIMBER MEN. Gaol and the Sack. (Australian « iv. 27. Cable Assn.) (Received April 26 at 10 p.m,) SYDNEY, April 26. The thirty-eight timber workers who were ordered by Judge Lukin to return to work by to-day, defied the order. It ig understood that if these men go to gaol their dependents will be provided for. MELBOURNE, April 26. The Master Builders have sent an u.timatum to the 'timber men and the carpenters that if buildings jobs are not manned before 5 p.m. on Monday, all the works will be closed down by which five thousand men now working will be rendered idle.
