A. AND P. SHOW.
RECORD ENTRIES RECETVED Record entries have been received for next week’s Show, and the only requirement to ensure a splendid result, financially and otherwise, is good weather. While some of the classes are not quite as strong numerically as heretofore, other sections have produced a fifty per cent, increase in entries. Large entries in the needlework and cookery sections have come to hand, exhibits in the former section having been sent from Wellington, Waimate, Oamaru, Christchurch and Leeston, while the local ladies have responded well in the number of their entries. The usual classy sports programme will be presented, while the sideshows will be more attractive and more numerous than heretofore. In addition to present bookings, enquiries have come to hand from showmen in various' parts of the lalaad. and maybe some of these will be unable to set up owing to the limited space now available. Amongst others the Yarnos Zoo and Jungle Entertainers, with their monkey motor races, yiL be certain to bring a huge following.
