The Retail Department will be conducted as heretofore in Mawhera Quay. We cabled immediately to our London buyers to replenish our Hardware and Grocery Stocks and have large shipments arriving daily of the latest brands in grocery and hardware being able to take advantage of the falling markets. We’ have now a complete stock of Groceries and Hardware including porcelain baths, bisins, wire ropes, lawmillers’’ builders’ and mining requisites. In future our Wholesale* Grocery and Ironmongery Departments, Boundary and Mackay Streets, will close at 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
