After being disqualified at the trotting races, a jocked returned to the racecourse armed with a rifle, and rushing into the jockeys’ room, he fired two shots, one narrowly missing the Secretary of the Club (Mr Evans'). The jockey was overpowered and charged with having attempted to kill Evans. END OF ROYAL FORM. AUCKLAND, February 11. While exercising at Takapuna this morning Royal Form fractured a leg and was destroyed.

The gelding was by Royal Soult— Pretty Form, and displayed winning form at the Takapuna meeting, where he won the Waiwera Highweight Handicap, and gave promise of developing into a good cross country performer. '
