BRUNNER “B” DEFEAT CAMERONS. Brunner B easily defeated Camerons at Brunner on Sunday. In the Ist innings Brunner were all out for 26, of which Rothera compiled 20 not out. Camerons were four men short, but four subs fielded for them. Camerocis made 21, Allen being top scorer with 9. In the 2nd innings Brunner batted well for 135 runs. Casserley retired at 49, and Newlands had 40 on before he went out lbw to Dalkie. Rothera 10 and Wilson 11, were the only other batsmen to get double figures. Requiring 141 to win, Camerons began their second strike which realised 67 (Dalkie 29, and B. Robinson 25 not out being the best scorers). In the first innings Dalkie took nine Brunner wickets for 14 runs. Bowling for Brunner Hunt took three for 22, ami Casserley 4 for 14.
