NO TRACE OF BULLET.

In the Garage. (Australian & N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, January 12. A development occurred in the Meiaiter case by the discovery of a code among his possessions in his apartment, wit& which it i« believed he corfcsponued with a woman in New York. The code is confined in phrases of endearment.

The man’s trunk''also contained letters in a woman’s handwriting bearing neither address nor fignature. Another puzzling feature is that two feathered darts were near the body. There is no trace of a bullet and no money in the pockets. The police are seeking a man known to frequent Messiter’s company. NO SIGN OF BULLET. A TELL-TALE HAMMER LONDON, January 13.
