WELLINGTON, December 12. The Dominion Meteorologist’s forecast is as follows: There has been little change in the pressure distribution, but the cyclone east of Cook Strait has intensified still further. Moderate to strong south-west to southerly winds, reaching to gale force at many places. Seas generally rather rough to rough in New Zealand waters. Strong south-westerly winds to gales and rather rough to rouge sens in the eastern Tasman Sea. Weather still generally unsettled with further rain, and some heavy falls in eastern districts, between Akaroa and East Cape, and hail in places. Cold temperatures.
