The Children’s Show, which opened last Saturday under unpleasant wea ther conditions, will be continued at Victoria Park to-day, when the record number of entries will be again on exhibition. It is the opinion of all who attended at the pavilion last week that the work is of excellent standard, and no doubt a large number of citizens and visitors will avail themselvea of the opportunity afforded to-day to view and appreciate the exhibits. The big sports programme, which had to be postponed on account of the unsuit able weather last Saturday, will be run off this afternoon, and hundreds of children will be competing. Considerable interest is being taken in the events set down for decision, and every afternoon this week teams on tored for the schools relay races have been assiduously practising at the Park. Altogether, a splendid after noon’s sport is in store for both competitors and public alike. _
