DELINQUENTS BEFORE THE COURT. AUCKLAND, November 24. The sequel to thh amazing series of depredations ’of a gang of boys opeiating in the city and suburbs during the (past moil th or two, was heuia in Children’s Court yesterday. live boys wwre charged with breaking and entering, ana theft, conversion of motor cars, wilful breaking of street lamps petty thefts. No fewer than forty-nine charges wer e pfl.'ferred’ against one boy aged thirteen, who was placed under the care of the chief welfare superintendent. A boy ot fourteen who admitted thirty three
charges of theft, was similarly dealt with. A boy of fifteen who pleadedguilty ■'to 22 thefts and conversion charges, was sent to the Borstal Institute for thrd- years. Two other boys wefe sentenced to similar terms.
