(Received Augu t 26 at 5.5 p.m.) Boston City is planning a ree.’ption to return that given ito the United {states Fleet in Australia in 1925 when the cruiser 1 ‘ Australia” arrives there toVmorrorv. The city will offer a reception similar to that accord'd to the home-coming traus-A:t!ai.tie fliers. The State and city officials and naval officers, with the co-operation of the British Consul, have planned a programme insuring activities for the visitors from the time of their arrival until they 1' ave for New York next Wednesday. Rear-Admiral Andrews (Commandant of ;the Naval Yard), General Brown and Governor Fuller will r<* reive Admiral Hyde and his staff, after which the crew will attend the Am riean Legion exe'eises. Admiral Hyde and staff wjll dine with the acting British Consul and General Evans. The Sunday programme includes services at Trinity Church, a country club dinner ami dinners with Admiral Andrews and at the British Summer Embassy at Beverlv Farm. The subsequent days will be filled with theatre parties ieeeptions, visits to factories, and clubs, and to baseball grimes. Mavor Nichols, of Boston, will present the keys of the city to the visitors The “Australia” will bo open to the public, and plans have been made to handle thousands of visitors while she is ait Boston.
