MCDONALD KNOCKS KIELY. SYDNEY, May 18. At the Leiehai’dt Stadium, Laehic McDonald (ll.lt) knocked out Gurdon Kiely (11. in the sixth round ol a fifteen rounds contest, for the middleweight championship of Australia. | McDonald forced the fighting from the commencement, and in the third round attacked strongly to the body, and in the following round almost had Kiely out, with a heavy right to the jaw, the gong saving him. Towards the end of the fifth round, Kiely was again floorer! and in the sixth was dropped for nine. With a similar punch on rising, McDonald again connected with a heavy right to the jaw and the referee stopped the contest, declaring the New Zealander the winner.
