ARNHEIM’S LAND TO BE PROSPECTED. (Received March 27 at 7.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 27.. A well-equipped expedition will shortly be leaving to explore Arnheim’s Land, .the littl«-known portion of Northern Australia that is adjacent to the Gulf of Carpentaria. The object of the expedition is to ascertain the possibilities of the locality for agricultural purposes, and also its mineral resources, as wc|U as to search for oil.
