LOST IN FOG
MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS. JN SOUTH CANTERBURY. WAIMATE, March 26. Parties have been out all day to-day (Monday) searching the hills for Messrs \ R Cooper and H. W. Scott, who' are missing. They set out. at 7 o’ehiel; on Sunday morning .to wajit .ro, ami climb, Mount Studholme, arming to do it all and return by the evening. They were not home by daybreak on Monday, and anxiety has been thus occasioned, particularly as the night was cold, and heavy ram fell, hti C.H.per «allied to a farmhouse many miles from Mount Studholme this (Monday) afternoon, after a mnemen hours tramp across hilly country, he having lost touch with Mr Scott, and lost his bearings in a fog. Mr Scott, was discovered by beaten cts this evening at dusk in an exhaustc d c <»n <I i 1 ion.
