IN TRYING TO STOP A ROW. WELLINGTON, March 25. Following a fracas on the steamer Port Huntef on Saturday night, John I’onnon, a fireman, aged 39 years, was admitt d to the hospital with his throat cut. It is understood that Connon tried to separate some men who were fighting. and that, in doing so, he received a gash on the throat from a razor blade. His condition is not sefious.
