ADDINGTON LAMB SALES. Sales of West Coast lambs at Addington on Wednesday included the following lots:—For Dennehy Bros Wcg; Coast 4G at 22s to 30s lOd, West Coast client IGG at 25s 4d to 30s 4d, Hunter (Inangahua) 6 at 24s lOd to 29s 7d Whitmore (Rotomanu) 35 at 27s Id to 29s Id, Smith (Ross) 225 at 23s lOd to 28s 10d, J. Rothery (Ronomanu) 32 at 26s 4d to 28s, J. Ward (Ahaura) 65 at 23s Io 26s 4d. J. Mcßride (Matanui) 140 at 30s lOd to 33s 7d, A. F. Drayton and Son (Ahaura), IG9 at 27s lOd co 32s lOd, W. Savage (West Coast) 49 at 28s lOd to 31s 4d, Burrows Bros (Ahaura) 51. at 25s 4d to 30s JOd, J. Donovan (Ngahore) G 9 at 25s 4d to 30s lOd. Other lots were sold as follows:—3G a* 20s -Id to 2Gs Id, 174 at 23s 4d to 25s Id, 164 al 23s and 19 at 22s 7(1. A London cable yesterday stated:— A display of pork from the Agricultural Show, Christchurch, highly plea?e<l the Sheffield experts, who considered the quality of butchering first rate, and the meat eminently suitable for British requirements. The only fault was that some porkers were rather too heavy. The first prize for porkers wa? awarded to number 124, and the second to number 126. The first prize for baconers was awarded to number 122, and the second to number 118.
