Sheffield Shield. SOUTH AUSTRALIA 438 FOR SIX WICKETS. (Received January 16 at 4.20 p.m.) BRISBANE', January 16. South Australia lost 6 wickets for 438 runs (Dangstcr 61. Grimmett not out 48, Schneider 114, Hack 77, Alexander 62). The weather was dull and showery, necessitating the use of sawdust on the wicket, which, however, was good. The visiting batsmen played very carefully and the scoring was slow. Schneider had a very lucky innings, making many mishits. BLACKBALL B V. KOKIRI. This game, played at Blackball, resulted in a win for the home team by an innings and 35 runs. Blackball scored 120 (Ami -rson 38, Mason 28 not out, extras 22).
