MAN MISSING.
A Mysterious Case. AT NELSON. (Per Press Assn.) BLENHEIM, September 1. The curious disappearance of David Jones, a Canvastown resident, whilst on a visit to Nelson, is puzzling his friends and relatives and the police, to whom the case has been reported. Jones, a single man, aged about 50 years, left Canvastown about a fortnight ago with his sister, Miss C Jones, to visit relatives in Nelson. He went to Mrs R. Murray’s, at Brittania Heights, ami it was from that address that he disappeared so suddenly and mysteriously. Search parties alive been working from the Nelson end. where the police are directing operations, but so far no results have attended the efforts that have been wade to trace the missing man. One day last week it is reported from Canvastown workman on Whangama. Hill met Jones wandering about and gave him food, but sine? then nothing has been heard of him.
