WEST COAST EXECUTIVE. At the weekly meeting there were present Messrs W. S. Clark (chairman), Walters, Buckley, S. Thomas. Kiely, I. Olsen, White, O’Neil, and the Secretary (W. Lareombe). Messrs S. Thomas and W. S. Clark were appointed to the Finance Committee. Auckland League wrote that they proposed to visit the Coast on September 14. It was decided to reply that the date was acceptable and the Secretary and Chairman were instructed to arrange for delaying trains on that date. The offer of the Auckland League to negotiate with the St. George Club, Sydney, re a visit to the Coast, was accepted. A request from the Westland Football Association for use of the Dunollie Ground on September 4, was referred to the Fixtures Committee. It was decided that the final of the Knock-Out Cup between BBackball and Grey Clubs be played at Cobden on Sunday at 3 p.m. Accounts amounting to £2 12s 6d were passed. The report of Mr I. Olsen, manager of the Coast team to Otago, was received as highly satisfactory. An application for a game by Linwood fourth grade team was referred to Mr Masters, manager of the s-diool boys’ rep. team, to make enquiries in Canterbury. A request by Waiuta junior team for a game against Marist and Runanga clubs was referred to the Fixtures Committee to arrange if practicable. Fixtures were macle as follows:— Seniors—Final K.O. Cup, Blackball v. Grey at Cobden, Sunday, at 3 p.m. (C. Hall referee); Juniors—Kotuku v. Blackball at Blackball, Sunday at 3 p.m. (Mr J. Vaughan referee); Third Grade—Grey v. Blackball at Cobden, Sunday, at 1.30 p.m. (Mr V. Armstrong referee); Marist v. Runanga at Dunollie, Sunday, at 1.30 p.m. (G. Topp).
