The rebel Genetai Chenehsin was attacked by the Kiaochow garrison, under Commander Chu. The hostilities are 18 miles from Tsingtao. The tide of battle favours the Kiaochow forces. Chang Tso Lin’s forces are reported to have advanced, crossing the Yellow River, compelling a retreat of Fe ig Yu Hsiang, and checking the flank attack in alliance with Chiang Kai Shell driving from the south.
