RUSSIAN EXECUTIONS.
A RIGA RUMOUR (Times Cable.) LONDON, July 7 The Riga correspondent states that an unknown assailant fired two shots ~t the Secretary of the Leningrad Section of the Communist Party, who was seriously injured. The assailant escaped. . A further batch of executions is announced from Moscow, where three Red Army officers were shot for delivering unauthorised political speeches to sodiers. Eleven were alleged to be Ron manian spies, and were shot at od ? SBa > and two peasants were sentenced to death at Nijninoxgorod for killing a member of the village Soviet
