LUNAR ECLIPSE.

AUCKLAND, June 16. Perfect conditions prevailed last evening for viewing the eclipse of the moon. The reddish or copper colour observed was the most distinct colour visible in an eclipsed moon for some years. SYDNEY, June 16. The lunar eclipse was considerably obscured by clouds, making telescopic observation unsatisfactory.
