EXPLOSION MYSTERY.

INDIANS AT SYDNEY. HAVE SHOP BLOWN UP. (Received February 23 at 7 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 23. Early this morning the residents it. the vicinity of Redfern were >|,used by a stunning expl.Xjpn, which occurred i>a shop occupied by some Indians, the ouilding being completely shattered. Five of the occupants were buried beneath the debris. They miraculously escaped. Two only received slight injuries. The force of the explosion was no heavy that it damaged fourteen other shops in the street, smashed' windows for a distance of three hundred yards, and dislocated the electric light system badly. The cause of the explosion is a mys tery. The Indians deny that they had any explosives stored on the premises The police are investigating as to tin possibilities of a bomb outrage, amongsl other theories.
