SUPREME COURT.
CASES TO BE DEALT WITH. AT NEXT WEEK’S SESSION. A sitting of the Supreme Court will be opened in Greymouth on March 2nd, when His Honour Mr Justice Adams, will preside. Following are the cases to be dealt with:— CRIMINAL SESSION. . Prisoners for sentence: —William Brown and William Low, breaking and entering. Thomas William Todd, incest, three charges. James Mcllroy, alias Samuel Evans, I heft from a dwelling, two charges and one charge of escaping from lawful custody. Stacey Joseph Oxenham, eleven charges of theft as a servant ot the Government. CIVIL SITTING. H.M. the King v. Stratford Blair and Co., claim for damages for, and value of, timber allegedly taken off provision al State forest reserve. Public Trustee v. Peter John Higgins. George William Fawcett and Charles Fawcett, claim for compensation arising out of death of Peter Carmody. IN DIVORCE. William Meldrum v. Norah Elizabeth Meldrum, defended, alleged desertion. Adeline Mary Magdalen Cook v. Robert Cook on the grounds of agree ment for separation. Undefended. IN BANKRUPTCY. Applications for discharge: — Oscar Henry Brailsford, of Cobden, contractor. Percy Sutton Hewer, Ahaura, bushman. Albert Richard Cropp, of Atarau farmer.
