NEW ZEALAND TOURNEY. First Day’s Play. AUCKLAND, January 10. The Dominion bowling tourney opened in perfect weather. Play started with singles in which there are seventeen sections of sixteen players. Rink play begins on Wednesday, in seventeen sections, with ten rinks in each section. In all, there are 680 players, tu the pairs, to commence on Monday morning, there are 38 sections, all but one of which comprise six pairs, 38 cou taining eight pairs.
