The let.er written by her and posted at London on Saturday after the discovery of her abandoned car on Fridav evening, has changed the scone of operations to the London district. Nevertheless the search is being continued on tin' Surrey Downs. The problem is difficult to answer. The weight of evidence suggests that Mrs Christie is wandering aimlessly.' Iler brother-in-law, to whom her letter was addressed, savs that she inenlionod that site proposed going away at tin* week-end. He is satisfied that she was normal at the time of writing.
