NATIONAL GRADING LIST. WELLINGTON, Oct. 28. At to-nights meeting of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, approval was given to a national grading list. The first twenty, divided into four groups,v are as follows:— Group No. I.— G. Ollivier (Canterbury). Group No. 2. — Andrews (Wellington). Group No. 3.—Bartlett (Auckland), France (2) (Wellington), Peacock (Wellington), Reay (Canterbury), Smith (Wellington), Wilson (Wellington). Group No. 4.— Aitken (Canterbury), Greenwood (Canterbury), Griffiths (Auckland), (Lampe (Wanglanui), Loughnan (Canterbury), Page (Otago), Parker (Wellington), Patterson (Canterbury), Robson (Auckland), Wallace (Taranaki), Wheeler (Wanganui). Among others, Laurenson, Sim, and Swanston are not included owing to insufficient performances during the past year.

N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS N.S.W. : TEAM COMING. WELLINGTON, Oct. 28. To-night the Lawn Tennis Associa tion met and the Management Committee reported that the N.S.W. As sociation had accepted the invitation to send a team to New Zealand a J; th« end of the present year. The tean would bo fully representative, and would include F. E Kahns (N.S.W State champion) Dates as applied lot by the New Zealand Association we’*' approved. The New Zealand clia'mpionships will be held at Auckland from December 27 to 31. The Austra lians would arrive at Auckland on September 21. Tt was decided to grain the application of the Wellington A« sociation fo r the North Island chan-.-ionships and that of the Christchurch Association for the South L land championship meeting at Easter.
