BOWEN WATERSIDERS. STILL STAND OUT FOR ROTARY SYSTEM. BRISBANE, July 19. The hold-up of shipping at Bowen caused by watersiders refusing to work, except under the rotary system of employment, has resulted in the Inkerman mill ceasing cane crushing, and all shifts were paid off. . So far only onesixth of the estimated crop has been crushed. Over two hundred farmers are idle, and some thousands of tons are standing over. The cane is deteriorating. a
