SKILTON—GREEN \\ OOD. A very popular wedding took pin in i Greymouth yesterday moriiin

when Miss Irene Emily Skilton, third .daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Skilton, or Cobden, was married to Mr John Richard Greenwood, c*ly son of Mi land Mrs Harry Greenwood, of Westport at the Holy Trinity Church. The ceremony was performed by Archdeacon Carr. The bride looked charming iu a dress of white chiffon velvet, trimmed with pearls and wearing «• coronet veil and orange blossom trim-/ tilings. Miss J. Greenwood was bridesmaid and wore sea green crepe di chino trimmed with silver with shoes and stockings to match. The bridegroom was supported by Mr Goorgi Saunders as best man. The bride was given away by her father. At the conclusion of tho ceremony the wedding breakfast took place at Harker’s Tea Rooms, where the management had tastefully decorated tiu tables at which about thirty-five g l ’ oBl ’ isat down. The whole was crowned by a three-tier wedding cake. The happy couple were the. recipients of severa telegrams and a really delightful array of wedding presents. The large assortment included a number of gifts flora the various sawmill companies SVI many of whose employees the bride had become very popular in the couise of her connection with the firm ot J.
