WOOL MARKET. — NAPIER, February 21. | The fourth sale of the Napier season commenced this morning, when | full benches of buyers displayed keen competition for the lots utieri!;/, totalling 19,922 bales. Continental buyers nought freely. Americans coming ii: strong for lots suitable for that market. Bradfoid on occasions made a linn stand against ether uumpetitois and acquired a good persentage uf the offerings. The sale was of an exceptionally spirited nature, buyers at times getting quite excited. Prices were on a par with the Napier January sale, and evened up on pre-wai standards. From the beginning, opera- * tions were brisk, and Dalgety’s, v, ho occupied tin* rostrum first, disposed of t..e major poitiun of a catalogue <>i 2943 bales in a little over an hour. The percentages passed in are, so fur. small.
