LEAGUE COUNCIL.
POLAND'S CLAIMS. PARIS, February 23. Addressing the Foreign Affairs Cumuiission in the Chamber, M. Biianc. bitterly attacked the foreign-press fui assailing: the admittance of Poland to the League Council. He declared that even before Locarno, the question oi increasing scats on the Council cropped up, and the interested nations were only profiting by Ucrmunv’s entn to reopen the question, a solution of which would not be attained bv scattering poison. M. Briand significantly added that the League’s Foreign Relations Committee was the best judge uf the mutter, and could deal with it independently.
