One hundred servants lit the British Legation, including some of the secretaries have struck. Students are now picketing the legation gates to prevent tiny servants making an ingress and are intimidating the families of those living inside the legation. The students are also paying th; strikers a month's wages. The students have a: movement f-?r the boycotting of all the British missionary schools and colleges. It is making considerable headway. It has now been decided tu attempt to iuduco all the Chinese in foreign employ in Peking to join the strike.
