The ‘Berliner Tageblatt” gives prominence to a statement i.y Piofessor Keysser, a eaneef expert, alleging that ho has anticipated Dr. Gye’s and Mr. Barnard’s rcctnt discovery, and that he has h-n defrauded of the ft nits of lis • n labours, Professor Keysser says that in April nnd May of 1923, as no Gorman money was available lor n ;entific research, Professor I’Upperf negotiated with re view' to i-bt'.i ning English financial help fir the continuance of his (Keysser s) experiments. Professor Ruppert gave to the English negotiators, represent'tig the British Ministry of Health, a detailed description of Proiessor l.wsser's results .to date, namely, that the exciter of cancer wis a icier passing virus, which could not produce a tumor, unless a. ertain condition of cells predisoo.sed lb. in to that action. The scheme for English financial help fell through.
